The Federal Government has enacted a new law to help provide increased safety for our children. This law, known as CPSIA, went into effect on February 10, 2009. To comply with this law, RePlay Toys has changed its policies regarding acceptable toys and safety.
We check the federal recall list daily (sometimes more than once each day) and ensure that no item in our store is recalled. If we find one, we immediately pull it from the shelves and notify the consignor. Please check our Acceptable Items List!
Please note, if items are recalled after your purchase from RePlay Toys, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.
We now label all items with small parts with this sticker
It is our hope that parents read these warnings and take seriously. This becomes particularly important with homes with more than one child. An 8 year old can safely play with small Legos, but can his 2 year old brother?
Lead & Phthalates:
While consignment stores are not responsible for testing for lead or phthalate levels in toys and baby equipment, RePlay Toys is always concerned with children's safety. As more information becomes available about avoiding unsafe chemicals, we will post it here.
